ABOUT US

My name is Richard Adams, and I manage the Community IT Services business and related websites.

Here is some of my history:

I have worked now for over 30 years for various companies, using computers from their early development technology up to the present day, for both software development and as management tools.

Since  August 2005, I have been working on my own IT Training, Website Services and Support business. I have worked on a number of projects, particularly involving the introduction of computers to the older generation in sheltered housing schemes throughout the Midlands region, from Nottinghamshire in the North, to Dudley in the west, as well as in Coventry and Birmingham. These IT Training programmes have been sponsored via private companies, Age UK and the National Lottery at various times.

I have also been working as a personal IT trainer, going to people’s homes in my local area near Coventry and further afield, to teach them about computers, both for beginners and more experienced users, by personalising the syllabus to individual needs and to their own computer specifications. I also provide, website design and support services for Churches, Charities and small Businesses through another section of my website, Cathedral Web Services, and I am also setting up an online training resource library on another section of my website, known as Your PC Training Library . We aim to demystify technology, by our personalised, jargon-free training programmes and by our information and product selections on our Website and Newsletters.
